Staff recommends that Council approve the partnership including sharing the costs with CDOT to apply a Chip Seal treatment on Main Street.

Since the implementation of the Downtown Road Diet, the visibility of the old paint markings has been an issue. At certain times of the day, the refection of the old markings are more dominant than the new paint causing confusion with drivers. Staff and CDOT feel that a Chip seal treatment will resolve the current problems and are in agreement to share the expenses and apply a Chip Seal treatment that will resolve the issue. |
