Subject/Title:
Appointment of Mark Martinez to the Main Street Advisory Committee as the Hospitality Industry representative.
Recommended Action:
Appoint Mr. Martinez to the Main Street Advisory Committee as the Hospitality Industry representative. 
Background:

With Councilor Woodward's recent election to Council, he has stepped down from serving on this committee creating the vacancy for the second Hospitality Representative. Mr. Martinez applied and interviewed for the Main Street Advisory Committee back in September 2021 for the Hospitality Industry Representative. Since the application and interview was recent, staff reached out to Mr. Martinez to confirm his interest in still serving on this committee and he is interested.

 

The Main Street Advisory Committee has one vacancy: Hospitality Industry representative with a term ending 6/1/2022.

2. Do not make the appointment and continue recruitment.

This action helps to fill the vacancy on the Main Street Advisory Committee and further Council's goal of community through citizen involvement.
